Grammar.  Repeating basic pars of English grammar:

1) Pronouns in objective case: 

 

Do you know this woman? Who is she? What is she? What do you think about  her? Do you support her?  Do you trust her?  Is he doing her job well?

Who is this man? What do you know about him? What do you think about him?

We are the Ukrainians. What can you tell other people about us? 

Ukrainian MPs. What do you think about them? What do you expect from them? What do you wish them to do in the new Parliament?

Ми не любимо їх, вони не люблять нас. Я кажу тобі щоб ти пішов до нього завтра. Візьми у нього гроші і принеси мені. Я позичив йому гроші три місяці тому і він не віддає їх мені. Я знаю її вже 20 років. Весь цей час у мене були чудові відносини з нею. Не розповідай мені “казки”(stories) , я все про тебе знаю. Вони нічого не знають про нас.  Ми бачимо їх вдруге в житті.

2) Conditional Sentences( Умовні речення)

Conditional 2.

If you had extra money,  would you invest it into a business project or would you go to travel or would you buy a new dress?

If you had free time, would you learn a new foreign language?  What foreign language would you learn if you had time for it?

If your friend called you at 2 am and ask you to come to him/her, would you go to him or you would say  "I’ll come to you in the morning"?

If you saw a homeless cat/dog in the street would you take him to you home? 

Conditional 1.

If another Internet provider offers  you better terms of connecting to the Internet will  you change you Internet provider?

If the weather is fine on the next weekend, will you go out of the city? 

Will you move to the USA if you win a greencard?

Passive Sentences

Робота зроблена (зараз).

Робота була зроблена вчора.

Робота буде зроблена завтра.

Робота робиться (is being done) = to be + being + 3form.

Домашня робота зроблена? Так домашня робота зроблена. Вона була зроблена вчора.

Завдання з математики (math problems) розв'язані (solve)? Два завдання розв'язані а одна задача розв'язується(is being solved).

А тест з англійської написаний? Ні, тест з англійської не написаний. Тест пишеться (being written).

Той будинок на вулиці Бальзака вже побудований? Ні, той будинок ще не побудований. Він будується (is being built).

Коли буде побудований той будинок? Можливо (possibly), він буде побудований в наступному році.

Труби (pipes) в будинку ремонтуються? Так, вони ремонтуються. Вони будуть відремонтовані протягом (within) тижня.

Коли буде закінчений ремонт під'їзду (entrance)? Все в порядку. Під'їзд ремонтується. Ремонт буде зроблений вчасно (on time).

1. What social networking sites do you use?
2. How much time do you spend on social networking every day(in average)? Can you say that you’re addicted to social networks?
3. What are some good points about social networking?
4. What are some bad points about social networking?
5. How can we reduce the harm done by social networks?
6. Do you have a Facebook page?
7. What information do you have on your webpage?
8. How many Facebook friends do you have?  How did you make these friends?
9. Are you a member of Facebook groups? What groups are you in?

1) Compare, pls  Facebook and VKontakte.  Which site is better to your mind? Why do you think so?

2) I don’t know much about Instagram. I know that this site is used for photos.  Can you tell me more about this site?  Why do  people use it?  What can you do on Instagram? Can you have friends, be a member of groups, take part in discussions? What’s difference between Facebook and Instagram?
